Choose an audio file, select MP3 or WAV, and choose Convert audio. MP3 offers 128, 192 and 320 kbps; bitrate does not apply to WAV. Listen to the preview and download the result. The MP4 example demonstrates audio extraction as well. Cancel discards the current job; a new file or setting clears the old result.
Good to know
Input support depends on the browser; MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC and audio in MP4/WebM may work, but the extension alone does not guarantee compatibility. Limits: 25 MiB input, 2 minutes and one or two channels. Output is 44.1 kHz: MP3 is lossy; WAV is uncompressed 16-bit PCM and can be much larger. Conversion does not improve source quality. Metadata and artwork are removed; there is no track selection, trimming, DRM removal or video output. Whole-file decoding can use substantial memory, and duration/channel checks occur afterwards. Cancelling native decoding waits for the browser to finish before another job; worker encoding is terminated immediately and has a two-minute timeout. Processing is local.
