How to use this tool

Choose Website, Text or Wi-Fi and enter your details. Select Generate QR code, check the encoded content, then download PNG for everyday use or SVG for scalable printing. Scan the finished image with your intended phone before printing or sharing. Changing an input clears the previous result.

Good to know

Static QR codes contain your data directly. They have no service expiry or scan tracking, but a linked website must remain available; changing its destination requires a new code. Up to 1,000 UTF-8 bytes. Black modules, a white background and a four-module quiet zone are included. Keep the white border. PNG dimensions use whole modules and can differ from the target size. Shorter content and larger prints scan more easily. Wi-Fi supports WPA/WPA2 Personal or open networks, not enterprise authentication or raw hexadecimal keys. Reader compatibility varies. Inputs are not saved.

QR code questions

Will this QR code expire?

The image contains a static payload and has no expiry controlled by JustFreeTools. A website QR code still depends on its destination remaining online. There is no redirect account or subscription to maintain.

Can I change the destination after downloading?

No. The data is encoded directly into the image. Generate and distribute a new QR code if the URL, text or Wi-Fi details change.

What is the difference between PNG and SVG?

PNG is a raster image for documents and everyday sharing. SVG is a vector image that scales for printing. Both include the same QR data and white margin.

Why might a code fail to scan?

Very dense content, a small print size, cropping the white margin, poor focus or low print quality can make scanning harder. Use shorter content, a larger image and a real test scan. Error correction does not guarantee recovery from arbitrary damage.

Does the site track scans or upload my Wi-Fi password?

No. The QR payload is created locally and no scan-tracking redirect is used. Standard page analytics does not receive tool inputs. Anyone with the QR image can decode its contents, including Wi-Fi credentials.
