Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image, or try the built-in example. Set a maximum width and height, choose an output format, and resize. Compare the original and result file sizes, preview the image, then download it. Your original file is unchanged.
Good to know
The original aspect ratio is preserved and small images are not enlarged. JPEG uses a white background for transparent pixels. Quality applies to JPEG and WebP; the control is disabled for PNG. The file may become larger depending on the format and content. If your browser cannot encode the chosen format, it exports PNG and tells you. Exporting usually removes original metadata; animation is not preserved. Large images may exceed your device’s memory.
