How to use this tool
Choose CSV to TSV or TSV to CSV, then select comma or semicolon for the CSV side. Load a UTF-8 file or paste its text and choose Convert file. Review the result, then copy or download it. The example follows the selected direction. A header row is optional: all rows, including duplicate or empty header cells, are treated as data. Every row must have the same number of fields.
Good to know
This tool uses spreadsheet-style quoting for both CSV and TSV: fields containing the separator, double quotes or line breaks are quoted, and embedded quotes are doubled. Some strict TSV readers do not support quoted fields or embedded tabs/newlines; check your destination application. No values are trimmed, sorted or converted to numbers. Row separators become CRLF; line breaks within fields stay unchanged. Output is UTF-8 without BOM. Formula-like cells are preserved and flagged; import as text in spreadsheets. Limits: 1 MiB files, 1,048,576 UTF-16 input units, 10,000 total rows, 200 columns, 100,000 cells and 4,194,304 output units. No Excel workbook conversion or automatic encoding detection.
