Choose CSV to JSON or JSON to CSV and the CSV delimiter. Select a UTF-8 file or paste its text, then choose Convert file. Review the result and use Copy or Download. CSV needs a unique, nonempty header row and equal field counts. Quoted commas, line breaks and doubled quotes are supported. Try an example for the selected direction. Changes clear the old result and download.
Good to know
CSV values become JSON strings, preserving leading zeros and large identifiers; no type inference is applied. JSON must be an array of flat objects. Columns follow first appearance; missing values and null become empty CSV cells. JSON number spelling is preserved without floating-point rounding; nested values and duplicate keys are rejected. CSV output uses CRLF and UTF-8 without a BOM. Formula-like cells are kept unchanged and flagged; use text import in spreadsheets. Limits: 1 MiB files, 1,048,576 UTF-16 input units, 10,000 data rows, 200 columns, 100,000 cells and 4,194,304 output units. Headers are at most 256 units. Some emoji use multiple units. No Excel workbook conversion or automatic encoding detection.
